Tuamotus
The island of Tuamotus is known around the world for their unique diving encounters. Scuba divers from all around the world flock to this island to experience the unpredictable adventure of swimming with the unknown. Tuamotus is a very remote island, near a calm lagoon, surrounded by extremely deep ocean waters, steep drop-offs and cliffs. Calm waters in the lagoon help with the clarity of the water leaving divers the ability to see 20-30 meters deep. Manta Rays are the largest rays in the world, and feed on plankton, which is why you typically see them hanging out in the lagoon at Rangiroa.
